1) Script Title: Image Power Zoomer v1.1

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex4/powerzoomer.htm

3) Describe problem: Seem to have encountered a bug where it only shows the zoomed image of the last image in a series of images. In other words when you hover over any image it shows you the last picture instead of the one you are hovering over..

See problem in action here (it's not immediately obvious!): http://www.pixelshell.com/clients/rodrigootazu/index.php?/project/necklace/

Hi spuddle,
did you solve your issue? I've a similar problem with an image gallery, when I change the image source, some times the zoomed image is different than the displayed image. I think it could be the same cause of your problem.

I described better my issue here:
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63267

If you solved it, can you tell me how, please?
thanks,
wally.

I don't know about wally's problem but the original problem in this thread can be solved by changing the initialization from:

</script>

<script type="text/javascript">
jQuery(document).ready(function($){ //fire on DOM ready
$('.zoom').addpowerzoom({
powerrange: [2,2],
magnifiersize: [160, 160]} //Set size of magnifier to 160px by 160px

)
})
</script>

to:

<script type="text/javascript">
jQuery(document).ready(function($){ //fire on DOM ready
$('.zoom').each(function(){
$(this).addpowerzoom({
powerrange: [2,2],
magnifiersize: [160, 160]}); //Set size of magnifier to 160px by 160px
});
});
</script>

@wally, as far as I know, the script wasn't designed for that. Probably needs a fair amount of rewrite to accommodate changing the images around.

Please don't respond in this thread. I'll have a look at your thread and post something there if I get anything.

Wow, thanks John! Such a simple tweak and it works! Appreciate the help.

Wally: I hope you get your issue fixed too
