View Full Version : Mouseover doesn't work

Ok I'm using this (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex4/thumbnail2.htm) code for Image Thumbnail Viewer II
I'm using rollover not clicking but it doesn't work :( I've used it before and it works fine so I'm not sure whether it's just my computer or there is actually a problem.

If you could visit here (http://s14.invisionfree.com/adamtesting/index.php?act=idx) and just login with username:tester and PW:tester
Click on "Gallery v3" - now you can see page 1 of the gallery which works perfectly fine. However click 'Next' for page 2 and it doesn't work :confused:

can anyone help?

On these lines for the second gallery you have left off the closing quotes for the last entry on each line (I've put them in below, using red):

dynimages[51]=["http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v682/suwii/Gallery/jwc2.jpg", "", "152.Adam Scott at the '05 Johnnie Walker Classic"]
dynimages[52]=["http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v682/suwii/ScottonGreen.jpg", "", "153.Adam Scott poses"]
dynimages[53]=["http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v682/suwii/ScottonSofa.jpg", "", "154.Adam Scott poses"]
dynimages[54]=["http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v682/suwii/adam20red20sox201.jpg", "", "155.Adam Scott pitches before a baseball match"]
dynimages[55]=["http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v682/suwii/as1.jpg", "", "156.Adam Scott gets ready to tee off"]
dynimages[56]=["http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v682/suwii/as2.jpg", "", "157.Adam Scott gets ready to tee off"]
dynimages[57]=["http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v682/suwii/as3.jpg", "", "158.Adam Scott gets ready to tee off"]
dynimages[58]=["http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v682/suwii/as4.jpg", "", "159.Adam Scott gets ready to tee off"]

There may be other problems, fix this first and see.

Notes: Two thumbnail images seem to be missing from the first gallery but, it is only because you are using the large versions as thumbnails and letting the browser scale them. You should be using actual thumbnails to speed loading. As it is, even with a broadband connection, operations timed out on two of the images and I had to use 'show picture' (IE) or 'view image' (FF) to get them to come up. In IE where the text and large images do a sweep into view. If you set a background color (can be white to match the page) for the area the text displays in, it won't look so blurry at first.

This is easy to do in batch mode with many popular image processing programs and there are so many free programs available online that also do this and an online utility for this would be so very bandwidth intensive that, I doubt you will find an online utility for it.
