I run my pub website www.speedwellinn.com (http://www.speedwellinn.com/) and the homepage did validate OK with the W3C validator (linked bottom right of page). It now reports 7 errors that I don't believe are errors and wondered what I could do about it. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

There's only one 'error', unless you count the validator, although if one were to talk to the validator people . . .
Anyways, here:
http://www.punch.co.uk/"onclick
There's no space there and there 'should' be. I say 'should' and earlier 'error' in quotation marks because I'm not even certain it is a validation error.
In any case, if that's what the validator was so upset about, and it is, it should have come right out and said so. Fix that and all 7 errors go away.
I found it by taking that entire line and pasting it into an otherwise valid HTML 5 document. The validator then correctly identified that missing space as the problem. I went back to the original page (your page) and made a local copy. Validating it, same problem, 7 errors. I then fixed that one thing and it validated.
Go figure.
