Step carousel reverse direction

3) Describe problem: the default behavior under autostep appears to be:

1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4... (when it gets to the end it starts over at the beginning)

I'd like to see:

1-2-3-4-3-2-1-2-3-4... (back and forth)

Any tips on how to modify stepcarousel.js to make it happen?
