speech bubbles delay x milliseconds

3) Describe problem: How can I pause x milliseconds before the tooltip animation starts? It's a beautiful effect but if you've got several items in a vertical list it starts 'flashing' if you move the mouse from point a to b and it gets ugly. I've been looking at it (and it's driving me nuts) but I can't figure it out.

Sure, try the below modified .js file, which adds a 500 millisec delay before the tooltip shows onmouseover a link. To change that value, just search for 500 in the .js file and change it to another number.
