View Full Version : IE not loading scroller correctly
The scroller looks great in all other browsers except IE. It is centered. But in IE it is pushed to right and the wording is cut in half. Help appreciated. Site to go live once this error is fixed. Thanks,

How can we help if you don't give us a link to your site??
I am testing the site at the moment, so it's not live. I used Adobe Browswer Lab and the homepage looks fine in other browsers except this one.
I can put the site live? Are you logged on?:)
Daniel,
The site can be found at www.arrowharps.com
Click on the logo on the page and it will bring you to the homa page. The site is not live yet.
Only IE browser the following happens:
1. Scroller: text is to the right
2. Blue box appears in front of flash
Thanks for help, Marie :(
Is anyone having hassle with Internet Explorer viewing flash and scrollers?

If you set a high z-index on any elements that need to go on top of flash, this helps.
Secondly, if you set windowmode="transparent" in the parameters for flash, it will help with layering issues.
Thanks Daniel for your reply.
Windowmode="transparent" is set but doesn't seem to have helped. I will try the z-index.
Does this apply to the flash gallery and the scroller?
Thanks Marie:confused:

Those are methods to try to stop flash from overlapping content. They're general approaches, but may help in this particular case if applied creatively-- test a few ways and see if it helps.
Thanks, but no they didn't work. Might have to take it down or does any else have trouble with scollers and IE?
:)
