1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-in Slideshow (v2.4)

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/fadeinslideshow.htm

3) Describe problem: I would like to have round images over a photo background. The round images have a transparent background and are saved as PNGs, but on the slideshow, the transparent area of the image shows as a black square.

See the site: http://www.renewableenergy.on.ca/TEST/fireplace-and-heating-solutions.html

Is there any way to use transparent PNGs on this and have the photo background show through?

Thanks!

If you add css like this

<style type="text/css">
#fadeshow1, #fadeshow1 .gallerylayer {
background: transparent !important;
}
</style>

You should get a transparent background, at least in firefox. Not sure how it will look in internet explorer though.

Thanks - that seems to have worked in both FF (using v.3.6.13) and IE (tested in 7 and 8 assume that if it works in 7, it will work in newer versions).

I was having the same problem with pngs (black background) - now I have a new one. The previous image shows up behind the current image. Is there a way to make it disappear after the transition?
