Convert PDF to Readable Flip Book

Hi, I am new here. I didn't know if it is the optimum catagory for my question, but I believe you guys will help me. In brief, I am about to develop a site for vistors to Upload PDF files and convert them into readable flip book. Anyone have an accomplished project for this, or any codes for this.

i don't think you can do that. You need image / swf, i never heard we can use .pdf files type in pageflip.:)

You have posted this question in the Flash section. If you want to use Flash, this is the correct location. If not, you can ask a moderator to move it, because you probably won't get relevant replies here. (If not Flash, what languages are you planning to use?)


I think you will need to find a PDF to image converter, then the rest of the steps will be the same as any other page flip effect.

Of course there are many websites from a google search that allow this, but I'm not sure what the technology is behind it. For example, convertpdftoimage.com. Do some research on that and then look at how to create a pageflip effect from an image.

Yeah I would just split the PDF into images and then use a flip book effect. I may have something or can point you in the right direction, PM me if needed.
