Drop-down Menu Not Working in Safari, Chrome

3) Describe problem:
Menu is working in Firefox and IE but drop-down portion is not showing up in Safari or Chrome. It looks like the sub-menu is hiding behind the content. I have tried adding z-index to the sub-menu <ul> tag but it didn't do anything.

Is the container DIV <div id="nav"> necessary? It seems to be the culprit here. If I remove or disable this class (by renaming "nav"), the menu works properly in Safari:

Hi I have the same problems my CSS menu 2 works on IE, Firefox, Opera but not in Chrome. Could somebody help me ?
