How can you make a drop down wide section.

I mean if someone clicks the link it will expand into more text and push the section down to make room for the new text or html.

Have you tried using Animated Collapsible DIV v2.4 (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/animatedcollapse.htm)? I'm not exactly sure what effect you're trying to achieve, but this script sounds like it would do the job!
