building a forum

hi all, i need to add a forum to my website but i do not know how to write the code using DHTML?????!!!!:confused::(

can somebody help me in achieving this dream?????????????

Generally if you want to add a forum to your website, the easiest way to do it, is to use one that's already been made. Writing your own forum from scratch could take a while... and there's just no point in re-inventing the wheel, so to speak.

Try using any one of these:

http://www.phpbb.com/

http://www.vbulletin.com/ (this is what Dynamic Drive uses)

http://www.invisionpower.com/

Depending on the setup of your server, you may need to use a different forum system, but this should get you on the right track.
