Whats wrong in this code? Opens empty page.

IDK. Maybe you don't have a PHP enabled server. Maybe you do, but it doesn't like the PHP code in the getalbumpics.php file. That's just to name two, there could be so many things, many having nothing to do with PHP. It could be more than one thing.

To have even a chance of being able to tell for sure we would need a link to the live page:

As with most advanced scripts, you probably should avoid using align center. Instead one may use the css margin: 0 auto; style on a container of explicit width to center it. This requires a DOCTYPE that invokes standards compliance in IE.
