Zoom picture effect for videos

Hey guys I am trying to create an effect for a page where a video pops into the middle of the screen and place in a similar fashion to this script below:

I trying to do this, additionally I was trying to have a bar that went across and you could scroll left and right through a list of videos showing a thumbnail of them that you could click, I have been trying to do this with not much luck

any help for these would be greatly appriciated.
