Ultimate Fade-In Slideshow vs. CurvyCorners

3) Describe problem: I'd like to integrate "Ultimate Fade-In Slideshow" with CurvyCorners javascript as demonstrated on the following link:

However, it looks to me like they may not be a good match. I've been hoping to use CurvyCorners javascript on this site until Internet Explorer finally decides to use CSS3 standards. I've applied the JS to the appropriate DIV (synopsis-image2) but it looks like the image slideshow applies itself over this affect and prevents the rounding of the images. Does anyone know of a way around this? Thx!

Ok, I think I've gotten a tad bit closer but I may still be out of luck here...

This time I'm using the most current version of Ultimate Fade-In Slideshow which includes a separate .js file (instead of packing it onto each individual page) and I've managed to put the slideshow BELOW the box with the rounded corners but I'm still getting the corners of the slideshow popping up behind the box. It's barely noticeable but I would really like to round the corners of the slideshow (without converting each image to a PNG and creating a transparent layer --the filesize would explode)... Any thoughts?
