I am looking for a script that does the following:

I've got a vertical button on the top right side of the window.
When you click on this button, a div(with some text, images and a few links) slides out pushing the button with it to the left.

When you click on the button again it should slide back in.

A the moment I just got it to appear and dissappear when you click on the button, but I really need it to slide.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks.

You should try this software.

its called sothink try googling it you might be interested in looking DHTML menu on that website.

and follow the instructions to make a menu with slide transition. It's easy but a bit of tweaking is required to get the links which is not that hard though.

Cheers

Hi Vic,

Thanks for posting the solution but can you tell me how I can get the div to slide-in automatically (no submit button) after X seconds?

Would be great if you could.

Many thanks
Paul

Thanks Vic, much appreciated! I was going to ask how to set the delay but found out for myself. For anyone else it's:

S.to=setTimeout(function(){ S.Slide(); },2000);

change 2000 (2 seconds) to whatever is required.

Thanks once again
