can I use css to change forms appearance?

Sorry guys but I am a rank beginner at css.

I have created a form at http://www.elenadearden.com/rates.htm

I use the
<LINK REL="stylesheet" HREF="style2.css" TYPE="text/css"> code for setting the style of the site, but I don't know how to use this to control the appearance of the form.

Is it possible to control the background colour for the fields and also the thin line around each of the fields and the submit button?

Would really apreaciate any advice you can offer me on this one.

yes,whatever you have asked for is possible.Take a look at the source of:

for FF(Firefox) you can use css to style the submit button as i have done .But if you want to see the same in IE,then you should have the function which is also written in <script>tags.DO see the page both in IE as well as in FF
