Not sure if this is just me or not....

I won't bother showing the example on my homepage because the page on Dynamic Drive does the same thing.

Go here
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex9/addbook.htm
Click on Bookmark this site!
Then go into your FF bookmarks and click this new link...

For me, it opens the bookmark in a 'sub-window' (not sure the exact term). Basically it looks like one of those IE sub-windows like 'search' or something.
It splits the current window in two and opens the bookmark in a narrow column on the lefthand side.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

As far as I know, that is the best it can do under FF which is generally much more difficult to get a bookmark imported using javascript. The makers of FF seem to feel that it is an intrusion on the user to set bookmarks for them but, this sidebar bookmark or whatever it is called is a loophole. After it is set, the user can convert it to an ordinary bookmark. One idea would be to use a separate page to bookmark in FF. On it have a link (it will open in the main window) to the actual page and instructions for converting the bookmark.
