1) Script Title:
Step Carousel Viewer

2) Script URL (on DD):

3) Describe problem:

it works great but it's jerky on firefox. I think it may have relation to the images being a bit big but I can't change their size unless there's some sort of script that can take images and generate them to fit exactly into the panels. In IE and Chrome it works smooth as butter but on firefox it's jerky. I did notice tho that on the demo examples on DHTML homepage it does run smooth on firefox so this is why I'm not exactly sure what to do.

You can check out the problem over here: http://genius.backmeup.co.il

I'd appreciate any help, thanks ! :)

Hmm your images aren't that big that it should make any difference in FF. I have noticed JavaScripts running slower on pages with Flash also on the same page in FF, however. Just curious, what happens if you remove the left Flash banner on the left hand side of your page?

Hmm what's the size of your largest image within the carousel? Assuming size in fact is the issue, there are freeware programs that make light work of resizing all images within a directory to be of a certain dimension, such as: http://download.cnet.com/Image-Resizer/3000-2192_4-10103729.html?tag=mncol

they're about 450x670px hmmm...see the problem is, the carousel is filled with images using asp and those images are uploaded by the site admins and are required on a few pages (where you need them to stay big) so you can't size them down. :\ I mean the solution could be done but it requires manual action is what I'm trying to avoid. :(
