Flash chat with Video/webcam in Macromedia flash 8

Hello Guys,

Does anyone know how I can create a one to one Flash chat with Video/Webcam function in macromedia flash 8?

Just a simple chat with webcam functionality will do!!

Any help and advise will be much appreciated.

Its a bit complex and can get expensive. You will need some sort of socket server to run the communications, and you will have to embed the coding to allow webcam/microphone access.

That's the hard part. The rest is basically some AS and aesthetics.

Do you run a dedicated server or a Virtual Dedicated? 99% of shared hosting won't allow socket server installs.

it shouldn't cost at all. found a few tutorials on how to make them but the componant that was used in that tutorial is something that I can't find...

as for the socket server to run, not sure what you meant by that. if you meant flash server then I already installed it my machine...
