Gallery with custom image navigation

Hi dynamic drive, I've been searching for months now and i am looking for a slideshow that has navigation not only 'next and previous' but instead of 1, 2, 3, 4 or image 1, image 2, image 3, image 4 or in some cases thumbnails of the actual image is used, I would like one with custom image something like the image in the link below

In fact, i would love it if it would work like the one in the image - with the navigation on the right side.

I tried to set up something to match your idea. Take a look here (http://azoomer.com/Govna/index.html). It is made with the NivoSlider which is free and can be downloaded from this site (http://nivo.dev7studios.com/).
To match the picture you made you would have to make the navigation images bigger but that shouldn't be to difficult. If you need it i can give a copy of the files i have.
