Lightbox 2 help (opens on new page)

Hello,

I'm not entirely sure if this is even Javascript- that's how new I am to the world of website building!

I'm trying to make Lightbox2 work for my portfolio site (www.charlottepearson.com) and have followed all the instructions on the Lightbox page including the troubleshooting instructions under 'support', but the image is still opening on a new page. I just can't see what the problem is.

This seems to be a common problem, but having trawled other sites and threads, the solutions given seem to depend on the code of the individual site.

Any help would be much appreciated.

This may not work for you, but it did seem to work for me you may need to have the .js and .css file in a folder in the same directory as the images are in. it may work it did for me.:)

That's not lightbox you have there, rather slimbox, and it appears to work fine.
