1) Script Title: text and image crawler

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/crawler/index.htm

3) Describe problem:
I'm using one of dynamicdrive's crawlers (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/crawler/index.htm). I would like to know if there's a switch for turning on/off the wrapping. That is to say, as it stands, the crawler will crawl left or right to the end or beginning of the row of items within it, and then when it gets there is wraps around to the other end of the row. Is there a way of getting it to just stop once it gets to one or the other end?

What exactly would you like it to do instead of this? Scroll from left to right then stop at the end and never move again? That should be possible.

If you are scrolling images:

might fit the bill. There is a multi use (per page) version around as well if you need that. There are also other scripts that do all sorts of scrolling. Since crawler does a few things, just what exactly are you after? Like, do you want the mouseover activation which is an option in crawler and also only what the script I linked to does, or more of a basic marquee, what?

I think I forgot to mention:

I have it initialized to stopped (moveatleast: 0, stopped: true) so that the user has to move the mouse over the ends to get it moving and when he removes the mouse it comes to a stop. That might make a bit more sense of why I want it to stop at the ends.

So, yes I want only the user to have control over the movement, not really like a marquee that moves on its own (the crawler is the closest thing I found to this). I'll have a look at the link you posted and see if that suits my needs better.
