DHTML Drop Down Menu

I am implementing the "All Levels Navigational Menu".

I need a menu background image on the top menu bar only.

Can someone tell me how to code this into my CSS and to what particular CSS this coding goes into in order for the background image to be recognized.

I've tried just about everything and cannot get it to recognize my background image.

You should be able to give the main menu bar a background image (and just the main bar, and not its sub menus), as the HTML markup for the main bar and sub menus are separate. If you look at the samples on this page (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/ddlevelsmenu/generator.htm) for example, you'll see that some menu styles have a background image for the main bar. The key is just to style ddlevelsmenu-topbar.css.
