Why doesn't PS spit out CSS code?

Photoshop still uses tables when cutting up a page layout..

Why haven't thet made the newest version spit out pure CSS code? or both as options..

Because PhotoShop is a photo editing program, not a web design program.

If you want that option use DreamWeaver, Front Page, or some other 3rd party CrapWare like those.

Tables are easier to program. That's the short answer anyway.
