In my laptop virus alert wallpaper is displaying and System security 2009 automatically installed. System security 2009 showing that my laptop is infected with virus it ask me to scan after scan it showing many viruses. when i try to clean all virus it ask me to activate the system security 2009.
I am using Mcafee virus scan it has catched some Fake Trojan virus . Now macfee also infected onaccess scan has been disabled automatically.

Never install virus/spyware protection that you aren't sure about. Ask a friend or look up a review. Frequently lesser known "helpful" security software is actually just trying to install its own virus so that you have to pay then to remove it-- if you can't verify the software before installing it, it's probably a scam.
we got System Security 2009 on our computers at work - it came via a (hacked) legitimate site. They didn't actually realize they were downloading or installing anything until it was too late - and it was a pain to get rid of. it hid on external hard drives and had multiple registry entries to reinstall itself
