1) Script Title: AnyLink JS Drop Down Menu v2.2

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/dropmenuindex.htm

3) Describe problem: I think I accidently deleted this thread and am reposting my question.

I used the above script to create 4 drop down menus for a site I have just started for displaying my photographs at briangersten.com. The layout and function of the menus work perfectly in Firefox 3.6, which shows how the menus should be working. The problem is in IE6 and IE7. When the pages are loaded in IE, the menus are hidden but active along the left side of the screen rather than positioned under the navigation buttons at the top. There is no sensitivity of the navigation buttons to hovering by the cursor. How do I fix this anomaly?

In Safari 4.0, the menus are positioned and function as expected but in the Videos pages, the menus are partially obscured by the image window for the referenced YouTube videos. They are not obscured by the image of the butterfly on the Butterflies page. How can I make the menus overlie the video images?

I have noted in a different thread that IE doesn't like the transparent attribute. I used it to make the text link invisible so that I could use navigation buttons to guide the person viewing rather than text links. I tried giving 'color:' a real color. This made the text link visible although it was still misplaced to the left side but functional.

Any help appreciated.

Follow-up:
Resolved positioning of menus in IE by binding menu link to button images with <a href="home.html"><img src="homebutton.jpg"></a>. Whole button image is active on hovering. Still have problem with obscuration of menu by YouTube video image in Safari.
