1) Script Title: Smooth Navigational Menu (v1.4)

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/ddsmoothmenu.htm

http://romanarmy.net/NewMenu.htm
contains main html / Javascript call
http://romanarmy.net/smoothmenu1.htm
contains the <ul><li> etc for the smoothmenu

3) Describe problem: Firstly "Smooth Menu" looks fantastic. Congratulations to whoever thought it up! Can't say that I'm all that comfortable with Javascript .. so I much admire the work that has gone into this!

I'm not entirely sure that I have a problem or if this is something to do with IE8?:D
The smooth menu appears ok, the drop downs work as does the navigation. However once I have clicked on a link in the smooth menu and have been directed to the new page I get the error ..

"Webpage error details

... once I have transferred to the new page!

Basically I am in the process of redesigning the menus for this site. I really like the idea of having one external file containing all the links rather than having it hard coded in a template! So far I have only tried the smooth menu on a few pages, but each one appears to generate this error on the destination. Note : I do not appear to get this error in Chrome or Mozilla.:)

I would be very grateful for any help in this!

Mike

The menu seems to work just fine. There is an error on line 137 of artillery.htm though. On artillery.htm, get rid of the highlighted from your body tag:

<body topmargin="0" leftmargin="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" bgcolor="#ffffff" onLoad="MM_preloadImages('Buttons/top%20button_r2_c2_f3.gif','Buttons/top%20button_r2_c2_f2.gif')">

MM_preloadImages is undefined.
