1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-In Slideshow v2.0

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/fadeinslideshow.htm

3) Describe problem: Having a problem with the images loading in IE. Both in Safari and Firefox it works brilliantly. This happened overnight. It was working on IE yesterday. The site is hosted on godaddy and I was on the phone with them with no such luck on a fix other than its my fault somehow. Not too sure why its working in two other browsers... If anyone can help that would be awesome!

Code Below

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js"></script>

You've done something to your image(s). For example, navigate directly to:

in IE and you will see a broken image symbol, at least that's what I get here. Your results may vary, but I doubt you will see the image. Any other browser, and there doesn't seem to be a problem. The images are way bigger (byte size) than they need to be anyway. Try optimizing them.

Also, in Opera it reports this about that particular image (the others may or may not be similar, in IE it often only takes one broken image to mess things up, but I'm betting that whatever you did to this one, you probably did to all of them):

Orientation of image: 1
File change date and time: 2010:03:04 11:30:57
Software used: Adobe Photoshop CS4 Windows

Seems like a recent change. Try saving it in a different program, or in the same program with different settings.

Just to give you more of an idea - I downloaded the image, and it still wouldn't show up in IE. Then I saved it in PSP 7, it reduced to about a third of its size, still looked fine and after that it loaded into IE with no problem.

I noticed the navigation problem after I posted this thread and called godaddy immediately. I was so confused as to why it worked great in the other browsers and not IE. They told me it was my CSS file and I had already verified the code on that but they insisted that was the problem. John I just quickly tweaked the images in flash because I don't have Photoshop and you are a genius :). I never would have thought that. I will get with the guy who made these images on Monday and have him redo them. You are the man John! Thanks so much, because of you I was able to keep some hair on my head haha.
