Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to know if anyone knew why this website's scrolling text banner doesn't show up in IE? Firefox, Safari and Chrome works fine but I just don't know why IE won't work.

http://www.florencehouse.co.uk is the website that the scrolling text banner at the top doesn't work.

http://www.bmsport.com is a website which has the same scrolling text banner at the top but works in IE.

My guess is that there is some sort of Javascript clash in the Florence House website as it features a slideshow just below.

Can anybody shed some light on this?

hmm, not really sure this is what i find:

the florence house using gif

the BMW using basic HTML + CSS

it's weird if IE can't recognize the .gif image. I just know that IE have problem only with .png image. May be the florence house using a JS that broken the moving banner.

May be the other can find the other thing...

My bad... Maybe not...

I just replaced the code that was already there with that line of code you gave me and it still doesn't work in IE...

I just back to the basic, have you try it already?

<MARQUEE align="center" direction="right" height="200" scrollamount="2" width="30%">

That does actually work but the motion in which it moves is somewhat jerky...
