1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-in Slideshow

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/fadeinslideshow.htm

3) Describe problem:

Black line down left on first slide and Black line across the top on all other slides.

You can see this here: http://www.johnstrand-mk.co.uk.server64.ukservers.net/projects/index.html

I know that this is caused by my anchor links and on all other images adding class="nohover" fixes the issue, but on the slideshow I cannot get this to work.

Can anyone suggest how I might add nohover to the slideshow?

which CSS rule do you suspect the slideshow is taking on? I tried looking through all of your CSS files, though it's hard to spot it. In general you should be able to just define a CSS rule that undos these changes and target it towards the slideshow container.

Hi

It is the anchor class that is doing it. I have a nohover class for other images to stop the red background appearing, but I cannot apply this in the same way.

Which area an I add class="nohover" to remove this - I have switched off the a:hover class and it solved the issue, so I just need to know where to add the nohover class.

Thanks in advance

Try this. Inside your CSS file, add the below rule:

#fadeshow1 a, #fadeshow1 a:hover{
background: transparent !important;
padding: 0 !important;
color: white !important;
}

That almost did it, but I hadn't thought about adding more to the fadeshow1 id.

I made one small change and used 'none' instead of transparent.

#fadeshow1 a, #fadeshow1 a:hover{
background: none !important;
padding: 0 !important;
color: white !important;
}

It works perfectly now. Thanks
