Hi all,
Baically I am looking for glossy backgrounds. I think its not a CSS property to make ur color look gloss/metalic.. But I belive normaly we use the background pictures to bring that affect.

What I amlooking for are some glossy pictures, if any could provide me with or any way to achieve this affect.

Here is an example of glossy vertical menu from this forum and apparntly they are using the pictures, http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/csslibrary/item/glossy-vertical-menu/P10/

Can nay please provide me with the pictures used in this mene. I am also looking for red, black and gray.

The best thing would to know how make such background rather then looking for the pictures.

But I am looking for some suick solution.

Thanks

Nile

The images used are: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/cssexamples/media/glossyback2.gif and http://www.dynamicdrive.com/cssexamples/media/glossyback.gif, to use them in css just use the background and set it to repeat-x.

These are known as gradient images. Just about any advanced image editor (PSP, Photoshop, The Gimp (free), probably others) can make them. You may also use this online tool:
