Hello there.
I have seen it done on a few websites, but i have no idea what the effect is called. But i do have an example.
Look on http://daily.abduzeedo.com/
Now if you hover over a module/image you will see a caption pops up.
I would like to achieve this effect but popping up from the bottom (only 80px or so high) and with only two lines of text and the whole image being an active link. Also leave out the fading of the text.
Does anyone have any guidance on where to find a tutorial/source for this, or more examples?
