returning to selected submenu after mouse leaves submenu area

3) Describe problem: rather than the sub menu disappearing after the mouse leaves the sub menu area I would like it to return to the "gotsubmenu[selected]" sub menu. Can anyone help with this?

Have you looked at DD Tab Menu (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/ddtabmenu.htm), which supports this by default?
