Annoying alert box keeps popping up...

I have a script on my page with a bunch of encoded material which I can't seem to decode. And the script keeps triggering an annoying alert box every single time I load the page.

Is there any way to stop all javascript alert boxes from popping up on my page?

I wasn't sure but, this seemed to do the trick:

<script type="text/javascript">
var alert=function(){
return;
}
</script>Put it before any other scripts on the page.
