1) Script Title: Ajax Tabs Content Script (v 2.2)

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/ajaxtabscontent/

3) Describe problem: It is mentioned, For search engines or browsers with JavaScript disabled, the external contents will just load as actual pages (instead of via Ajax).

But i have tried various Search engine simulator... content is not available specially when using Ajax. Inside Google webmaster tools, you can try....Fetch Content.

Anyone can update me... if I am wrong otherwise this script need a update so search engines can read.

For AJAX in general, it would depend upon how it's done. For the specific script you mention in your post:

Ajax Tabs Content Script (v 2.2) (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/ajaxtabscontent/)

If you follow the recommended syntax for links:

<ul id="countrytabs" class="shadetabs">
<li><a href="#" class="selected" rel="#default">Tab 1</a></li>
<li><a href="external2.htm" rel="countrycontainer">Tab 2</a></li>
<li><a href="external3.htm" rel="countrycontainer">Tab 3</a></li>
<li><a href="external4.htm" rel="#iframe">Tab 4</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.dynamicdrive.com">Dynamic Drive</a></li>
</ul>

Each link is to the specific page it will load, so is just like an ordinary link to a search engine. The only possible exception is is the first one, which is to the page itself, so that page should already be indexed anyway.

However, if you are using a different script or different syntax with this script, there could be SEO issues.

Thanks for the reply, i am using the above mentioned script.

But when run a search engine simulator, then why the content of another page is not shown and search engine will list the other external page and not the page on which resides... so if that is your homepage then PR hurts.
