I am trying to increase the indent between the photo and the text. the photo is to the left of the text. any suggestions please.

indent? sorry i don't understand what do you mean?

if you want to make a space between the photo and the text you can use padding

Margin or padding should work.

You should consider not using tables for layout and not using microsoft coding.

problem solved. I gave the image a border in photoshop and then was able to use the horizontal spacing to create a padding.

bluewalrus - what do you mean not using tables and microsoft coding? what's your suggestion. Currently i am using frontpage to create my html
