hue / saturation in flash

i'm using flash CS4.

how to edit the color in flash? with hue / saturation like we use in photoshop.

cause i can't find the option.

You could do it in photoshop save it as a png and bring it over... I think I only have cs3. Are you trying to do it in a tween?

yup, i got a problem with the tween, and there are a lot of frame in one movie clips. That why i need hue / saturation tools in flash.

Now to cover the color below i make a new layer and using alfa image, but still it's really difficult to get the color i want.


hmm, do you know some web that can give me tutorial and fla example about flash, cause i'm kind a new comer at flash. I need mentor to improve my flash skill.

I was looking at the wrong thing...

In properties menu goto filters click plus then in drop down menu adjust color, saturation, hue, contrast, brightness should be options. If you can't find it there or it's different let me know and I'll make a sample cs3 file you can open in 4 and see where it ends up.

sorry bluewalrus i can't find it... i check at properties menu, and i don't see the filters menu, i just see publish and properties menu...

i try to find a script about hue / saturation and all i've got is this:

hue property
hue:Number [write-only]

Sets the hue of the AdjustColor filter. The range of valid values is -180 to 180.Implementation

I don't have cs4 so I can't give you detailed instructions but the documentation says its still in the property viewer under filters.

Apply the Adjust Color filter

The Adjust Color filter allows you to finely control the color attributes of the selected object, including contrast, brightness, saturation, and hue.

1. Select an object to adjust the color for.
2. In the Filters section of the Property inspector, click the Add Filter button , and select Adjust Color.
3. Enter values for the color attributes. The attributes and their corresponding values are as follows:
Contrast
Adjusts the highlights, shadows, and midtones of an image.
Brightness
Adjusts the brightness of an image.
Saturation
Adjusts the intensity of a color.
Hue
Adjusts the shade of a color.
4. To reset all of the color adjustments to 0 and return the object to its original state, click Reset Filter.


If you want me to try and do it with your project tell me what your trying to do on, and upload an fla in cs3 format.

I got the link the first time just thought it was an error as it doesn't connect and the domain in your signature is .com, regardless of that this link still doesn't work. How large is the raw .fla?
