Accordion Menu item spacing

3) Describe problem:
I have spaced my menu and submenu items with a margin-bottom in the
glossymenu a.menuitem and glossymenu div.submenu ul li - css entries.
This displays fine initially and works on expanding the submenus, but when a submenu is subsequently collapsed it loses my margin-bottom spacing bunching up the items (as per the DD's original script layout).
Can anyone help?

A fix thats suits me unless anyone has a better idea?

All I've done is slip a <p>&nbsp;</p> after each menuitem ('p' style set to height / spacing required)
I've left the margin-bottom in the submenu item css as it is not affected by the dynamics.
Simple huh?
Too busy lost in the script and css to spot the simple solution!
