blank panel in stepCarousel after deleting post (wordpress)

3) Describe problem: It was already built into the theme, no plugin or set up on my part.

It is working fine (mostly) and I have had no problems customizing it. But I seem to have made a mistake when I deleted a post without FIRST unchecking the tick box that tells WP to 'feature' the post in the carousel. At least I think thats what happened. Thats when the problem started at least.

Now I am getting a third 'panel' with just a 'read more' link, like it thinks there is still a third post. clicking the read more leads you to the most recent post. (see it here - http://sortedsolutionsllc.com/sayit/)

I have looked in the settings and am not seeing any options to fix this, none in admin (only options in admin for it are to set how many posts to show and to set how long to show each one for.)

and in the actual js file there really isn't much that I understood, but if you want I could paste the file in or send it to you, just let me know.

I am 'assuming' that I need to clear a cache in the database, but I have no idea which one and don't want to mess it up so I decided to ask the experts!

(ignore the ugly site- it is still in very early stages of design, lots of changes left!)

Since the actual contents of your Step Carousel is dynamically generated, there's nothing we as outsiders can do to fix the issue- it has to be done inside the PHP script that's generating the output. FYI the relevant HTML snippet on your page is the following:

As you can see, the last panel's content is the "read more..." one. As far as why it's there, again, this is something that's done on your server end, with the problem being the plugin itself (which I'm not familiar with).
