Table backgrounds

Okay on my table I would like a background, is there an easy way to do a resize on the image, because it cuts half of it off.
Is there another way, rather than resizing the image for each cell.

I almost forgot, I want one image per cell.
I don't know much css, maybe you can use this? I'm not too sure.
