Adding Images to the Css Nav bar

Hi, confused as to how to add the images displayed above the script...can you explain how that works! Thx!!!!

Sorry I wasn't more clear about the script I was referring to, the css Solid Block Menu....the images I'm referring to I've seen on several of the css menu scripts...hopes that clears my question up; thx
