DD Tab Menu II question

I'm trying to use the DD Tab Menu II code that I found on this site. The tabs look right in FP2003 and IE6 but they're only as big as the text that is on them in Firefox 1.06. How do I make them look the same in both browsers? I'm obviously pretty new at this. Thanks.

My menu tabs are defined to by 86px wide. If the text that is written on them is less than 86px wide, the tab graphic is truncated. :( FF also doesn't break the text like IE does. e.g. I have a label on a tab called "Photo Album". The code is PHOTO&nbsp ALBUM. IE does the line break. FF does not. Any pointers on either or both of these would be appreciated. Thanks.
