Hello everyone, im a newbie and got a question. Ive got my website set up etc, but would like to add a guestbook that i could design myself. Dont want to subscribe to a service,etc. Basically place for people to leave comments annymously etc. Any one have any ideas? Or is it even possible.

A way that nobody will ever do, i am sure of, but requires little work to set up but alot to maintain would be to create a form. The user would type in what they'd want to post, and when you recieve the information, you can create an hmtl page with it. I AM AWARE OF HOW ABSURD THAT IS.
or you could use CGI scripting.

Why not use one of the many free guest books that are on offer around the web. The work is almost all done for you. I use http://www.ultraguest.com/ does not put any banners on your site but the book is made up for you and you can tweek it
