Hi, er, I have a problem with html. Basically, my website is www.thescarywebsite.tk . The button opens a new window, which is what I want, but what I need help for is this: at the top of the new window there is a bar, and when you click one of the pictures, it opens a new window, which is what I DON'T want it to do (spoils the effect, you see :D ). I want the link in the same window. It used to work before, but now it is not working. Please help me!!!!!
Thanx

It's because you have not named your frames within the framesets, just name it "main" as that is what it appears to be calling, e.g.
<FRAME SRC="http://uk.geocities.com/sbsp_fan_1/Mr_Smilie.html" NAME="main">

Thank you, it worked! But one problem: When "home" is clicked, the bar comes up twice. How can that be avoided?
Thanx for the help!!!! :p
Add target="_top" to the home link.
Try using freedomain.co.nr. No ads.
Using images for text isn't clever.
One moment you could be sitting comfortably working on the computer (or playing games!), when SUDDENLY.......... a pop-up would come. Not too likely. Whilst playing games? Except through the web browser, I don't see how this is ever possible.
Now, you would naturally close it; however, it will always find you again.Uh-uh. In my house popups knock like everyone else ;)
And think about it, you could be bombarded with pop-ups, which causes your computer to freeze. Not really. They might cause Firefox to freeze (if there are really a lot of them), but all that's needed to recover from that is to kill Firefox.
The answer to popups is simply to take some effort to block them. Firefox + Adblock + good filters are more or less popup-free - occasionally I do get them (I've had one this week), but they load in tabs which I just adblock and middle-click without even looking at.
With a bit of user effort, popups are a thing of the past. I daresay there are equivalent options and software for IE, though I don't have IE so I've never seen it.

Uhh..... probably sounds like a stupid question, but where'd you put it? (TARGET"_top") I tried putting it in different places but it didn't seem to want to work. :(
:P Oh and about the "One moment you could be sitting comfortably working on the computer (or playing games!), when SUDDENLY.......... a pop-up would come. " bit, when I wrote that I was thinking of hotbar. I downloaded it to get some smilies, and random pop-ups came. (it was a nightmare!!!! ;) ) McAffee, my pop-up blocker, didn't want to block it........
Lol, sounds scary :p
<a href="foo" target="_top">bar</a>

lol sorry :p
Calm down, dear. It's just a link. :p
What's the matter with it? Does it just not do anything?
(Ooh, I can finally say that and stand a chance of someone [except cr3] having a clue what I'm on about :p)
