When comparing in IE vs. FF, Firefox displays a 'proper' spacing
between the (5) DD Drop Downs. (There is excessive spacing
when viewed in IE).

Since the DropDowns function correctly, I think this
is more of a CSS question...

Looks like an IE css padding issue...

It's hard to tell just looking at your source, as there's a lot going on, and with browser specific CSS issues like this, it's even trickier. I'd just try and play around with the CSS margins and/or paddings between the menu headers to see if that changes anything in IE...

i guess its bcoz margin and padding both are given to the <p> tag inside id="mypanelcontent" in the script, just remove the margin and do the alignment through padding itself, that should solve the issue..
