PHP Send SMS through Mobile Connecting to PC (COM Port)

anyone have tried this topic?
I've googling, but there's just solution to send sms through an sms gateway :)

is it possible to use our own code (or using a lib) that can detect phone through COM Port, alert if a new sms received, sending an sms.

let's research, I really need for your help ^^

gammu needs to runs the .bat
can php sends it to background process?
