Left-Right Curtain Script with content

This is a very nice script I would like to use as an intro to one site.
The thing is, I would like to
a) place some content (be it an image, or even better html) in the curtains and
b) let the curtain open onClick, and not automatically.

Now, Im not a programmer and merely grasp (is this correct English?!) how this script functions.

I would really appreciate it, if you could tell me how to achieve the above 2 things...

Still I would need to know how to let the curtain only start its movement onClick and not "onStart".
