3) Describe problem: I have added this code to my web site and it is working fine. I now want to move everything to my testing server and noticed that the jquery.min.js file is linked to an external file on ajax.googleapis.com. Can someone please tell me if I should leave this as a link or can I save the .js file and link to a local copy of it? I am obviously new to this type of code and do appreciate any help.

You should just leave it as is. Google offers remotely hosted versions of the main jQuery .js file, which there's no reason why you shouldn't take advantage of. See this blog post (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/forums/blog.php?b=11) for some more info on the offer.
