1) Script Title:
Chrome CSS Drop Down Menu (v2.5)

2) Script URL (on DD):
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/chrome/index.htm

3) Describe problem:
I noticed that, when filling a dropdown with large numbers of objects thus extending the webpage height, the dropdownlist will move to the top of the page. I tried to prevent this by adding margin-top like this:

.dropmenudiv{
position:absolute;
top: 0;
border: 1px solid #BBB; /*THEME CHANGE HERE*/
border-bottom-width: 0;
font:normal 10px Verdana;
line-height:13px;
z-index:100;
background-color: white;
width: 200px;
visibility: hidden;
margin-top: 74px;
}

The with that is that the smaller dropdown menus ends up 74 pixels below where they should be. Are there any easy fix for this?

Inside the .js file, try finding the following two lines, and comment them out (code in red):

//if ((this.dropmenuobj.y-topedge)<dropmenuH) //up no good either?
//edgeoffset=this.dropmenuobj.y+obj.offsetHeight-topedge
