I'm trying to write a low-resolution version of a website for viewing on mobiles etc.
The problem I've having is that in Safari on the ipod Touch, the text does not re-align to fit the width of the window. Unless you zoom right out and make the text tiny, the text expands beyond the right-hand edge of the screen, so that you have to scroll right to read each line.
I've tried viewing it in Safari on my laptop and reducing the size of the window and it looks fine (the text re-aligns as the size of the window reduces, as I want it to). It also looks fine on my BT HTC phone.
Please can someone tell me what I need to do to correct this problem.
I've uploaded a test page to:
http://www.curiouser.co.uk/ed_test/index3.htm
(Please note: the links on this page are not active yet.)
I've spend ages trying to work it out how to resolve this problem for myself with no success, so I would really appreciate some help.
Thanks,
Rob
